USF Pediatric/Adolescent HIV Program

The Pediatric/Adolescent HIV Program of the University of South Florida was established in 1990 with the primary goal of providing comprehensive medical care to HIV infected and exposed children and adolescents. With the support of the community, it has become a regional center of excellence for HIV care, serving eleven counties with a population of over 3.5 million people. The department of Pediatrics of USF, in partnership with All Children?s Hospital, is the sole provider of comprehensive HIV care to children and adolescents in West Central and Southwest Florida. The program's primary goal is to improve the health and lives of infected children through excellent medical care, access to clinical trials, psychosocial support and education.
