The Patient and Family Support Program provide comprehensive psychosocial and mental health services for patients, their parents and siblings. Children's National Health System has Centers of Excellence focused on Sickle Cell, HIV/AIDS, Diabetes, and Kidney Disease. Project CHAMP (Children's HIV and AIDS Model Program) is one of the area's largest providers of support and services for children living with HIV infection and AIDS.
